Fundraising Events
Our club hosts two major fundraisers each year, the Spring and Fall Pancake Day. We use the proceeds to support children's groups and K-Family organizations throughout Winchester and Frederick County, VA. Visit our Photos page to see Kiwanians "in action!"
Semi-Annual Community Pancake Day
The Fall 2011 Pancake Day is scheduled for the first Saturday in November - that makes it Nov. 5, 2011, from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. NOTE:
Our new location will be at the Active Living & Recreation Center in the War Memorial Building. This is in Jim Barnett Park. You can get to it from Pleasant Valley Road or Senseny Road and enter by the Baseball fields.
Tickets are $5.00 in advance, Adults - $6.00 at the door. Children under 7 - $3.00 at the door. Advance tickets are available from any Winchester Kiwanis member. Look for Pancake Day signs in local offices and stores.
Pancakes - hot off the grill, "secret" recipe sausages, hot and cold drinks, and friendly service from the Winchester Kiwanis and High School Key Clubs.
