Winchester, VA – September 29, 2015
The Discovery Museum has been chosen as the Major Beneficiary for the Kiwanis Club of Winchester Community Pancake Day this Fall. Pancake Day will be held on Saturday November 7th at the Jim Barnett Park War Memorial Building. The event will run from 7am to 7pm. Local Kiwanians will serve pancakes and Gore sausage at the twice-yearly event. The Kiwanis Club of Winchester is celebrating our 92nd year of service to the community, and we thank you for your support. Kiwanis is “improving our community, one child at a time”.
Paul Limoges, Advancement Officer for the Discovery Museum said, “The Discovery Museum is honored to have been selected as the major beneficiary of “Pancake Day”. Children are at the center of both of our missions, and it is a perfect fit for our organizations to partner on this great event”.
Tickets for Pancake Day may be found by following the yellow “Community Pancake Day” posters at businesses around Winchester. They are $5.00 in advance or $6.00 at the door. Tickets for children under 7 can be purchased at the door for $3.00. Like us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1433787120223366.
